Toopan is a retail and consumer goods growth strategy, innovation, and new ventures leader and advisor with over 20 years of global experience delivering results.
Before founding Starship Advisors, Toopan was Vice President, Enterprise Strategy Development at Target, where he led a 25-person team supporting executive leadership on a range of critical topics. Prior to Target, he led strategic planning for Walmart’s US Food business. Previously, he was at PepsiCo, where he served Chairman and CEO Indra Nooyi as her Chief of Staff, led innovation for the Quaker brand, and co-led corporate strategy. Earlier in his career, he was a consultant for McKinsey & Company and The Boston Consulting Group.
Toopan holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.A. in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. from Brown University.
